Beginning of Journey
Narendra Kaushik was born on the 5th of November 1973 in a small village in Bhiwani Haryana near Delhi. He grew up as a young boy in rural Bhiwani in a caring and supportive home. During his early school, it was apparent that this young boy was very bright and had a lot of talent to offer to the world that wanted to be challenged and nourished. Achieving another rags-to-riches story through an exceptional life history, Dr. Narendra Kaushik managed to rise from the poor country boy to a level in Indian society only a few individuals achieve during their lifetime, also due to the unconditional support of his wife Dr. Sunanda Kaushik throughout this journey.

He completed his MBBS from PGIMS (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences), Rothak in 1996 and M.S. from PGIMS Rohtak in 2000.
Achievements
In 2004, he received his M.Ch in Plastic Surgery from the well-renowned King Edward Memorial K.E.M.) The hospital (Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College) in Mumbai was awarded for D.N.B. (Diplomate of National Board) by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), Govt. of India in 2005 also.
Personal History
In 2001, After entering the magical state of wedlock, with his wife Dr. Sunanda Kaushik. He was blessed with two children, and he then joined various well-known and reputable private hospitals in Delhi from 2004 until 2011.

Dream comes true
In 2010, he started his private hospital – OLMEC Healthcare Hospital, which he started running full-time in 2011. OLMEC soon had a reputation for excellent surgical results in Delhi, NCR. Due to the constantly excellent results, OLMEC steadily began to grow so that on April 5th, 2019 the new OLMEC Health care Hospital, known as the Transgender Surgery Building could be inaugurated. Olmec Health Care Hospital is dedicated to the transgender community of the world, with a special ward for international patients.
It is the first hospital of its kind in India in two ways
- Olmec is the first Indian hospital that is explicitly dedicated to transgender-specific surgeries.
- Olmec is the first hospital in India ever to publicly display its dedication and services to the transgender community on its hospital building by including the word Transgender in its hospital name
Dr. Narendra Kaushik is an active member of various associations like ASPS, ISAPS, APSI, IMA, IPATH, and WPATH
Dr. Kaushik is the leading transgender surgeon in India. He has performed over 16,000 Male to female and Female to male Gender Affirmation Procedures. In addition to thousands of transgenders from India, he has served hundreds of international patients from over fifty countries, including USA, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Thailand, Germany, Australia, etc.
